REAX™ is a driver shaft platform engineered by Mitsubishi Chemical Group in collaboration with TaylorMade® to deliver optimized performance through a more precise fitting approach. Developed using extensive swing data and advanced materials engineering, REAX™ is designed to complement how golfers release the club through impact rather than relying solely on traditional flex designations.
By aligning shaft behavior with a golfer’s rotational tendencies, REAX™ promotes more consistent launch conditions, improved face control, and tighter dispersion. This rotation-based design philosophy helps deliver reliable performance across a wide range of swing types directly in a stock shaft offering.
REAX™ is available in three distinct rotation profiles, each engineered with specific bend and torque characteristics to match different swing dynamics.
- High Rotation profiles are designed for players with a more active release, offering a smooth, responsive feel that helps maintain speed and launch.
- Mid Rotation profiles provide a balanced design suited to a broad range of players, delivering stable performance with neutral launch and spin.
- Low Rotation profiles are built for stronger players seeking added control, featuring increased stability to help manage launch and dispersion.
Multiple weight options allow further fine tuning of feel and performance, with lightweight, mid weight, and heavier constructions available to support a wide range of swing speeds and preferences.
