Our company is called Mitsubishi Chemical America Sporting Goods Division. Did you know we operate an archery company out of our Carlsbad headquarters? That’s right – we share our building with the good folks from Victory Archery and as it turns out, they have some interesting ideas too. In fact: Did you know the Metal Mesh Technology used in our breakthrough MMT shafts actually comes from an idea Victory Archery used in one of their arrows? They wrapped a piece of Metal Mesh in the prepreg layers of an arrow and found more accuracy and tighter downrange dispersion. We tried it in a golf shaft and voila – it worked there too.
